At Champions, safety comes first. All campers participate in a daily Red Cross swim instruction in our heated indoor Olympic-sized pool. Our swim program allows children ages three and older to practice proper water-safety habits for life. Swim instructors keep parents informed of their children's progress through bi-weekly reports. Red Cross badges are given to campers as they progress to the next level.
The Canadian Swim Patrol Program is a three-step rescue program for swimmers who have successfully completed all Red Cross levels, the program emphasizes water-safety habits, first-aid and rescue.
Swim groups are small and are based on the age and swim level of each camper, so that all campers feel comfortable in the water. All Champions can participate in supervised free-swim periods.
Extra swim time is available for hesitant swimmers who need that extra bit of attention. Swimming is a life-saving skill and you can never have too much of a good thing.
